Keresztény negyed - utcakép
Ezt a városrészt épp fejlesztték ottjártamkor. Szíria egészére elmondható, hogy a szegényebb negyedek utca-képe rendezetlennek tűnik. A szír emberek - érdekes módon - azzal nem igazán foglalkoznak, ami az otthonukon kívül van, így az utcákat is magukra hagyják. Az otthonuk esetében viszont ezzel ellentétes a helyzet, s meglepően tiszták, rendezettek, s igényesen berendezettek a lakások - értendő ez a mi világunkban polgárinak nevezett, átlagos családokra.
