Már vagy 27 éve történt az eset, hogy egy szír nő fogadalmat tett, hogyha sikerül, akkor 20 liter olajat ajándékoz a kolostornak. Amikor vitte a lépcsőn felfelé, kiloccsant pár csepp és akkor keletkezett a Mária kép. Az emberek sokat dörzsölték,hogy hátha nem igazi, a kép viszont nem tűnt el.
